Infrastructure That Keeps Pace With Growth
As Tracy grows, public safety has to grow with it. I will work to make sure our police officers, firefighters and first responders have the staffing, facilities, equipment and technology they need to keep our neighborhoods safe, while also strengthening communication and trust between residents and the people who serve them.
Growth cannot come before infrastructure. As Tracy adds new homes and businesses, I will work to make sure roads, intersections, sidewalks, utilities and public facilities keep pace, that new development pays its fair share of the infrastructure it requires, and that we continue maintaining the streets and neighborhoods we already have.
Bring Better-Paying Jobs to Tracy
Create Opportunities for Tracy’s Youth
Tracy has the location, workforce and opportunity to attract more high-paying employers, and I want the City to be much more aggressive about doing so. We should focus on advanced manufacturing, healthcare, technology, professional services and other industries that create skilled, family-sustaining jobs, while making City Hall faster and more responsive to businesses that want to invest here.
Our young people should be able to grow up in Tracy, find a good career and build a future here. I will work to expand internships, apprenticeships, vocational training, mentorships and first-job opportunities, while also supporting more safe and affordable places where young people can gather, study, exercise and build community.
